All candidates who seek admission to the program must have:

1. A minimum grade-point average of 3.0 on the last 60 hours of attempted course work prior to the receipt of the baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution. If the GPA is less than a 3.0 but at least 2.7 on the last 60 credit hours of attempted baccalaureate course work, the applicant may be considered for admission by special consideration, which includes a GPA justification letter to the program.
2. A conferred baccalaureate degree (excluding professional degrees) from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

In addition to meeting university requirements for admission to the University of Arkansas Graduate School, applicants must apply to the Human Resource Development program by submitting an application for admission specific to the master's program.

The deadline is Aug. 1 for the M.H.R.D. program's fall admission.

1. Demonstration of interest in a career in human resource and workforce development education
2. Evidence of potential to contribute to the advancement of the field of workforce development education through research and professional leadership
3. Previous work experience
4. Graduate GPA

In addition to meeting university requirements for admission to the U of A Graduate School, applicants must apply to the Human Resource Development program by submitting application materials for admission specific to the doctoral program. Those materials include an autobiographical sketch, 3 letters of recomendation, and a resume. These items will be uploaded with the U of A Graduate School application via the application portal.

The deadline is Aug. 1 for the Ed.D. program's fall admission.
